Have you ever had that niggling feeling when you know you have to do something but find a hundred other things to do so you are ‘busy’ and don’t have to take those next steps that your inner voice is screaming out for you to do?

I know I have and this is a process I have often experienced when I am about to go through a big change in my life. I always create some kind of resistance until I have run out of excuses and I make myself confront it and take the necessary step to achieve it. Is it the same for you?

Not so long ago I overcame my fear of public speaking and managed to deliver 7 (yes 7) different presentations onboard a cruise ship to discerning audiences. It was because of this experience I have created The Toucan Agency – a friendly place to learn the art of public speaking – with my friend, the highly acclaimed public speaker and artist Helen Pointer – so you too can achieve similar goals.
