INTRODUCiNG THE EFFERVESCENT HELEN POINTER

Since launching The Toucan Agency at the end of July Helen and I have been working on our marketing and profiles to continue to attract the right people to benefit from our teachings.

My previous three blogs have given you an insight into our shiny new business, however this blog is to tell you a little more about Helen, I have asked her to write a piece about herself because she really is quite amazing and have also included a sound bite from a her recent interview with the broadcaster Gyles Brandreth on the radio. If you haven’t already grabbed a cup of tea or coffee (or your favourite tipple) now is the time to do so – so you can sit back, relax and learn more.

In Helen’s words….

Exciting and very scary in equal measure. Over a decade ago I gave up a safe and secure top job in the NHS and set up ‘Drawn by Helen’. Think about a hobby that you really enjoy and contemplate the possibility of earning a living from your passion, so that’s exactly what I did. So my pen and my public speaking has literally taken me all over the world.

Training people how to be confident in public both as a speaker and as a trainer – supporting, encouraging and mentoring. When I’m on stage during my public speaking I use my artistic ability as a vital part of engaging the audience, literally ‘Drawing Out the Best In You’–my signature presentation.

My portraits not only capture your likeness it also includes all aspects of your life, this is what I do at the hospice as I explain during my radio interview.
